Hello, Conroe!
My name is Lance Brumlow, MSN, FNP-BC, CEN.
I have been a nurse for over 10 years, with a background rooted in Emergency Room nursing and, for the past three years, Urgent Care at FFUC. I chose nursing—and specifically emergency medicine—because I am passionate about helping people during some of the most stressful and vulnerable moments of their lives.
I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Lone Star College and began my career at Houston Northwest Medical Center in the Emergency Department. Throughout my career, I have served in several leadership and specialty roles, including trauma nurse, charge nurse, and House Supervisor/AOS (Administrator on Site).
While working full-time in the hospital setting, I continued my education and earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Arlington, followed by my MSN/FNP degree from Houston Baptist University, now known as Houston Christian University. Although I originally planned to pursue a career as a CRNA, my professional journey ultimately led me to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner—and I truly love what I do.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my two fur babies, Belle, a Border Collie, and Winnie, a Terrier mix. I also love board games with friends and attending musicals, operas, orchestra performances, drag shows, and other live productions. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I hope Japan or Greece will be my next adventure.
